Become a Member

 

cPort Credit Union's membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Cumberland, Kennebec, York, Sagadahoc, and Androscoggin Counties!

 

To become a member, simply print out and complete the Application Form and the Affidavit of Identity.

 

Next, send these forms with a check (payable to cPort Credit Union) for your initial membership deposit of at least $5.00 to:

Also, once you become a member, you can receive $25 when you refer a friend or family member to cPort Credit Union. Click here for details about this special offer.

 

Membership Information

You or someone you know is eligible to join if you live or work in Maine and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Live or Work in Kennebec, Sagadahoc, Androscoggin, Cumberland, or York County.
  • A current or retired employee of the public sector, including local, state, county, or federal governments
  • A current or retired member of the armed services, National Guard, or reserves.
  • A relative of a member or anyone eligible to be a member (including parent, child, sibling, aunt, uncle, grandparent, cousin, etc.).
  • Anyone living in the same residence as an individual who is a member or is eligible to become a member.

 

Member Identification Requirements

In accordance with Section 326 of the USA Patriot Act, applicants for new accounts are requested to provide current picture identification that verifies identity including name, address and other identifying information.


In some cases, identification will be requested for current members if original documentation was not obtained with the opening of the account. In all cases, protection of our members' identity and confidentiality is our pledge to you.
