We believe that we can help children better understand the credit union difference– better rates, lower fees, and extra attention to make sure all our members receive the maximum benefits from their membership at the credit union.

Members age 12 and under can become members of the Earnie the Starfish Savings Club. Membership at cPort Credit Union and the Earnie the Starfish Savings Club is a great way for them to learn about financial responsibility and have fun at the same time!
Some of the account features include:
- New Kids Account gift pack when they open a Earnie the Starfish Savings Club account
- Their very own Membership Identification card and Savings Register
- Incentive rewards the first time their savings reaches $50, $100 and $250
- Coloring contests and savings promotions throughout the year
- A Kids Day celebration held in April at the credit union branches
- Interactive Earnie the Starfish Savings Club website
- Youth savings certificates
- Quarterly statements detailing account activity
- There are no account fees for Earnie the Starfish Savings Club members.
