Community is one of our core values at cPort. One of the things we take pride in is being very active in our community by sponsoring various organizations and charities. An organization we have an ongoing partnership with is the Intercultural Community Center. The mission of ICC is to support and improve the lives of immigrants by providing health, social and educational opportunities. Most recently, the ICC has been hosting adult education classes over video conference on Zoom highlighting a few different topics, one of them being the importance of financial literacy for New Mainers.
cPort’s very own Branch Manager Jen Smith and Branch Supervisor Honorine Uwishema from Forest Avenue were asked to present on three of the calls in which they talked about the benefits of using cPort’s eBanking and why it is such a convenient tool. Both Jen and Honorine knew that a lot of the ICC participants were also cPort members who might not necessarily use or be familiar with our new eBanking platform. They welcomed this opportunity to shed some additional light on all of the capabilities our eBanking has to offer to help make daily banking transactions even easier.
During this call, Jen and Honorine gave an overview of our handy eBanking guide that walks members through most of the features available on the desktop and app versions including ways to remotely deposit a check, set savings goals, and how to view accounts at outside financial instructions which allows for more efficient budgeting. Our eBanking guide is available on our website in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Arabic.
