cPort Teller Chris M Featured in Mainebiz
cPort’s very own Chris Mbalazamo was featured in a Mainebiz article about new Mainers working as bank tellers in our state. Chris attended a 12-week new Mainer teller training program that cPort supports. After graduating, Chris came to work at cPort.
In the Mainebiz article, Chris states “When I was growing up, my dream job was to be working at a bank.”
The program is a partnership of Portland Adult Education, the New Mainers Resource Center, and six different banks and credit unions, and other groups. cPort staff members volunteer their time in order to teach students about becoming bank tellers in America.
