Tis’ the Season for Donating

As we near 2021 and take time to reflect on what we are thankful for over the past year, it’s also important to remember a lot of people are struggling financially during the holidays this year, charitable organizations included. At cPort we are always looking for ways that we can support our community and give back to organizations that align with our philosophy and mission of promoting Education, Health & Wellness, and Ending Hunger. 

In the December issue of Amjambo Africa, Forest Avenue’s Branch Manager Jen Smith and Assistant Branch Manager Honorine Uwishema discuss the donation culture in America. Donations can come in a variety of things: such as a monetary contribution, or a donation of your time by volunteering for an organization or contributing knowledge of a skill you may have.
