Added security for your eBanking login

Each time you log in from a new device or browser, a secure login code will be sent to your phone by text message or voice call. You’ll just need to enter the code into eBanking to complete your login. This added layer of security confirms that you are present at every login attempt and helps prevent potential fraudsters from accessing your account.

Preparing for Secure Login Codes – Frequently Asked Questions

When will I first need to enter a secure login code?
We will enable this feature on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.

Will I need to enter a secure login code at the computer or on the phone I always use to log in? 
No, you will not need to enter a secure login code on a device you have already authenticated. Any time you use a new internet browser or new mobile device, you’ll need to enter the secure login code.

How can I receive the code?
You can receive the code either by text message to your mobile phone or by voice call to any phone (the voice call will come from a 512 area code). You will be presented with phone numbers to select from based on the phone numbers you have on file with us.

How long do I have to enter the code once I receive it?
You will have 15 minutes to enter the code once it’s created. If you’re not able to enter the code within 15 minutes, the next time you log in, you’ll be sent a new code.

How do I make sure my current phone number is on file?
If you are the primary member on your account, in your eBanking menu, select “Profile.” Your phone numbers are stored in your profile, and you can make changes there, if needed.
If you are an authorized signer, joint owner, or other type of account owner, please use Messages in eBanking to send us any updated phone number(s) for your account. We keep any of the following on file: mobile phone, home phone, and work phone – please indicate which one(s) you’re updating.

What if I have an international phone number?
If you have an international phone number, you won’t be able to receive the code to your phone. Please call us during business hours or email info@cportcu.org so that we can assist you.
