Ever since the Small Business Administration announced economic relief programs in early April, our dedicated PPP team has been working round-the-clock to support our members and their businesses as they apply for and secure financial relief.
The good news is funds are available for small business owners or self-employed workers who haven’t filled out an application. We will continue to process applications and loans for Maine businesses in need of economic relief until funds have been exhausted.
cPort has helped process 155 loans with a median loan amount of $9,375. Thanks to the tireless work of our PPP team, we’ve been able to help obtain over $4M in funding for small businesses. We’re thrilled that we’ve been able to assist so many businesses in our community during these challenging times.
