How do I find my Member Number?
If you have eStatements enabled in your eBanking account, your member number will appear on your eStatement. Otherwise, please contact Member Care for assistance 1-800-464-0253.
What loans can I pay with the Loan Payment Portal?
You can make a loan payment to any cPort loan type.
Do I have to be a cPort member to make a loan payment?
Yes, when you make your payment, your name must be on the card or account where funds are being pulled from.
What type of accounts can I use to make a cPort loan payment?
You can pay a loan online using any credit card except for Visa or American Express. You can also transfer money from accounts held with another financial institution or by using a debit card from another financial institution.
Why can't I use my cPort account or debit card to make a loan payment online?
cPort accounts and debit cards are blocked as payment options. This is because we have ways to pay for free for members.
Is there a fee to make a payment online?
There is a $5.00 fee to make each loan payment online. If Member Care is required to assist you with the payment, the fee will be $7.00. There are fee-free options for members to make payments using their accounts or debit cards. In addition, if a member sets up a recurring payment using this portal, there is no fee.
How can I avoid paying a fee when I make a loan payment?
If you call Member Care at 1-800-464-0253 and ask to make a loan payment using your cPort account, you will avoid paying a fee. You can also use the Bill Pay widget found in eBanking. In addition, if a member sets up a recurring payment using this portal, there is no fee.
Can I make a Loan Payment over the phone instead?
Yes, call Member Care at 1-800-464-0253 to pay over the phone.
If I'm a business member, what date do I use for my birthday when registering to make a payment?
01/01/2000 should be used as your birthdate.
My payment was returned for insufficient funds. Will it try to pull again?
No, you will need to resubmit your payment request in order for your loan payment to process.
I made a mistake and incorrectly submitted a payment. How do I fix this?
Please call Member Care at 1-800-464-0253 for assistance. You may also be able to cancel your payment if you initiated it through the Loan Payment Portal
Can I make two loan payments at once without getting charged two fees?
Yes, you should not be charged a fee twice for making two loan payments at the same time.
How long will it take my transaction to debit at my other Financial Institution?
Debit and credit card transactions post in near real-time. This means you should see a debit on the other side almost immediately. ACH transactions (Money transfers) usually process within 1-2 business days.
