Bill Whitmore Promoted to Executive Vice President of Business Development and Information Technology Services at cPort

cPort Credit Union is pleased to announce Bill Whitmore’s promotion to Executive Vice President of Business Development and Information Technology (IT) Services. Bill began his career with cPort in 2019 and most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Business and IT Services. 

In his new role, Bill will oversee and drive the strategic growth of cPort’s Business Development including the Lending and Marketing departments as well as the IT department. With more than 35 years of leadership experience in these fields, Bill brings a wealth of expertise to our organization. 

Bill graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern Maine and earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. 

Reflecting on his promotion, Bill shared, “I’m incredibly excited about this expanded role and the opportunity to contribute more deeply to cPort’s growth and innovation. I’m committed to ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional services and technology solutions to our members.”
