Intercultural Community Center visits cPort!
As part of our commitment to financial literacy and community outreach, cPort Credit Union recently hosted a visit from the Intercultural Community Center (ICC) to our Riverside Branch. The ICC is a non-profit organization that works with students from diverse backgrounds to provide educational resources and opportunities.
During their visit, the ICC students had the opportunity to learn about important financial topics such as budgeting, managing income and expenses, and making smart money decisions. Through interactive activities like playing “Price is Right”, they were able to apply these concepts in a fun and engaging way.
In addition to learning about financial literacy, the students also got an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of our branch and had the chance to meet Gene Ardito, our CEO. They saw firsthand how a credit union operates and the different services we offer to our members.
At cPort, we believe in giving back to our community and empowering individuals with knowledge and resources to make informed financial decisions. It was a pleasure hosting the ICC students, and we hope they left with valuable information that will serve them well in the future. We look forward to continuing our partnership with ICC and other organizations promoting financial literacy.
