PORTLAND, ME — cPort Credit Union, in partnership with the Elan Charitable Giving Program, is thrilled to announce a donation of $12,500 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Maine. This contribution is part of Elan’s 2024 initiative that has allocated $375,000 in donations across 30 communities.

Elan Credit Card, a leader in credit card solutions, generously provided cPort with $12,500 to donate to a local charitable organization of our choice. Gene Ardito, cPort Credit Union’s President and CEO, comments, “We are thankful to Elan Credit Card for selecting cPort to participate in their Charitable Giving Program. By donating $12,500 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Southern Maine, we’re supporting the incredible work they do for our community’s youth, and we’re thrilled to play a part in their vital mission.”

Investing in the communities where our members live and work is a core value at cPort. We share Elan’s “people helping people” philosophy, and we’re proud to focus our support towards enriching the lives of children and teens in Southern Maine. This donation will help boost the incredible work at the Boys and Girls Clubs, an organization close to our hearts, dedicated to inspiring and enabling all children and teens to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
